King Penguins, South Georgia Island

St. Andrews Bay on South Georgia Island is the breeding site of huge colonies of breeding king penguins. This image was taken on a perfect day at St. Andrews. Snow covered the landscape, there was no wind, and there were thousands upon thousands of king penguins as well thousands of elephant seals.
